Not content with headlining the Golden Plains festival in Meredith, Victoria next year, UK post-rock pioneers Mogwai have announced a string of solo shows throughout the country in March 2009.

Dates for the tour are as follows:

Tuesday, March 3rd — The Tivoli, Brisbane
Wednesday, March 4th — Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Thursday, March 5th — Melbourne - The Forum Theatre, Melbourne
Saturday, March 7th — Golden Plains Festival, Meredith
Sunday, March 8th — Perth International Arts Festival (Beck's Music Box), Perth

Tickets for the Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne shows go on sale on November 21st, with Golden Plains general release tickets going on sale two days earlier on November 19th. Tickets for the Perth International Arts Festival are on sale now.
